Gugu Gumede to return to “Uzalo” soon
Gugu Gumede will reportedly return to Uzalo in October.
The actress who has been with the show since its inception took a break during pregnancy and postpartum.
“Fan favorites Mkhonto & Mamlambo makes a comeback to @Uzalo_SABC1. Mkhonto character was written off in 2016, whilst Mamlambo played by Gugu was on maternity leave. Both are set to appear in mid-Oct,” the report says.

Gugu welcomed her bundle of joy in March 2022 and she marked her 6th month birthday in August.
“Thank you all for the congratulatory messages on lil mama’s arrival, we are over the moon. It’s been a month filled with so much love, but also lots of work. Mamas, you know what I’m talking about. Taking care of a newborn is work honey – but nothing makes life easier than being prepared, and thankfully, I was,” the actress wrote in announcing the birth of her baby girl.
