Lynn Forbes Shares Emotional Message Following AKA’s DSTV Content Creator Award Win
He won in life and he is still winning in death. Such is the fate of deceased South African rapper Kiernan”AKA” Forbes. And friends and family have continued to celebrate him. His mother Lynn Forbes is one woman who never misses an opportunity to celebrate his is his mother Lynn Forbes.
AKA was recently honoured with a DStv Content Creator Award. The win wasn’t a surprise as many South Africans have been showing great support to the rapper’s family since his exit.
The symbolism of the win wasn’t lost on the rapper’s grieving mother, who took to her official Instagram page to share a video from the award ceremony and reflect on her son’s life and impact.
She noted that she knew AKA in life but in death he is teaching her deeper, more meaningful things about his life and who he really was as a person. She also gave other didactic noted from her on’s life and death. You can check out the clip below.
AKA was killed on February 10 this year, soon after he walked pout of Wish Restaurant on FLoridda Road in Durban. He was in the company of his friends and former manager, Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.
