Former United States president Barack Obama’s daughter Sasha was seen smoking with friends in viral photos.

Sasha Obama has always been seen to have a mind of her own. The 22 year old, who recently graduated from the University of Southern California, recently dominated the trends after photos of her went viral.

Sasha was seen hanging out with friends in a loose outfit while smoking a cigarette. Page Six reports that she was photographed smoking a cigarette as she left a Labor Day party in Los Angeles on Monday, 4 September. It isn’t the first time she has been seen smoking.

Since the photos went viral, many have stated that Sasha is taking after her father, who has opened up about smoking up to ten cigarettes a day. Former President Barack Obama noted that he started smoking as a teenager.

He shared in a 2009 press conference that he committed to quitting before launching his presidential campaign. In a report by Daily Mail, Obama, in his 2020 memoirs, A Promised Land, acknowledged that his eldest daughter, Malia, played a significant role in his decision to quit. He noted that she would always frown and disapprove of it and called it a powerful motivation.
